Ewido Anti Spyware Installation Tutorial
Do Not Forget to Backup any data before beginning!!
Steps 1-11 can be completed in standard Windows Mode and Steps 11-14 should be completed in
SafeMode
I recommend completing all of the steps in
SafeMode (with networking)
Step 1. Download Ewido Suite by clicking
here
Start the download and click run when prompted.
Step 2.
If you are running Windows XP SP2 you'll get something like this, click Run again.
Step 3.
Click OK, to install with English Language.
Step 4.
Click next to continue with installation.
Step 5.
Click "I Agree" to continue with installation..
Step 6.
Click next to install Ewido in the folder specified.
Step 7.
Next Again to name the Start Menu folder Ewido
Step 8.
Uncheck the circled boxes. Installing the background guard would only be worthwhile if you were going to purchase Ewido. It will slow your computer down.
Step 9.
Click Finish to Finish the Ewido install.
Step 10.
Click Update, to update the program files and definition files for Ewido Security Suite.
Step 11.
Click Start Update, to begin update now.
Step 12.
Click Scanner to switch to the trojan/spyware scanning screen.
Step 13.
Chose Complete System Scan to do a full system scan. (Best alternative, though slow)
Step 14.
If this box comes up, check the box to Perform action with all infections and click ok to begin the removal process.
When scanning is complete, close Ewido Security Suite and Click the link and continue on to Step 7,
